“The game’s core mechanics are already complete, with a wide variety of combo builds currently available.
I believe this may be a bug, so I wanted to report it. One more point regarding the hold attack: the hit detection that occurs after the Chainsaw winds up its swing feels somewhat unfair.

Previously, if the Stage 2 Boss was stunned, it would teleport away. This was intended, but it ended up making players lose valuable damage windows instead of gaining rewards for stunning the boss.
This sheep, fortunately enough, is able to battle its enemies with a giant sword. It can also equip and modify skills by 'downloading' them from defeated enemies, with the combination and modification of these skills presented through a deckbuilding-style system.
Decide to buff the skill you have, or add an additional chained skill to carry on carving your way through Doctor Wolf’s minions. Our skill and combo system allows you to play your way. Focus on strengthening just one skill, or embrace the dynamic force of the chain, it’s up to you.
is its art style. There’s a pulp fiction feel to its pixel art, which uses strong contrasts of dark and bright-but-grim colors to give everything a comic book look. You get the impression that Omega is fighting for a ruined world, as black terrain and washed-out orange skies give everything a look of OVIS LOOP being dead or dying.
Incredibly well-polished, I was surprised to learn that the game was only in Early Access, and the future for this title as it finishes its development cycle looks promising.
Our current goals are as follows, though specific plans may change depending on development progress:
Ovis Loop is a roguelike game whose unique battles, detailed pixel art, and distinctive premise make it stand out in a crowded field. It features a robotic bipedal sheep who fights for survival in a world filled with murderous wolves.
is a shockingly stable and well-put-together Early Access roguelike that’s sure to win over fans of the genre quickly. Its unique mechanics, story, and artistic direction help it to stand out in a genre of games that often wins me over in all three aspects.
The simple act of swinging a sword, shooting projectiles, or dodging enemies is enjoyable enough in each case to make the inevitable failures easier to come back from. It also seems to be the case in Ovis Loop, an upcoming entry to the genre with an inventive combat system you can try for yourself right now thanks to a Steam playtest.
What’s more, these power-ups aren’t simply handed to you. They’re stolen from the enemies you defeat and then added to your own abilities. This approach makes you feel like an adaptive android, absorbing the strength of your foes to grow stronger yourself.
is a “combo-crafting” system. As you unlock powers during your run, you aren’t simply given choices of “Relics” or small passive stat boosts like in other roguelikes.
